About Yukara

Built to argue.
Not to please.

Yukara is a bootstrapped, open-source decision intelligence platform. No venture funding. No growth-at-all-costs pressure. Just a council of specialized AI agents that reason, disagree, and produce answers you can actually defend.

The mission

Help people make the calls
they'd be proud to defend.

The hardest decisions don't fail because the data was missing. They fail because nobody steel-manned the other side. The strategist gets outvoted by the optimist. The critic stays quiet to keep the meeting short. The verdict ships — and the regret arrives a quarter later.

Yukara exists to fix that loop. Instead of one model giving one confident-sounding answer, a council of specialized agents debates the decision in front of you. A strategist proposes. A critic attacks. A researcher pulls evidence. A synthesizer reconciles. You see the entire transcript — what was considered, what was rejected, and what would change the verdict.

It's the second opinion the smartest people in your life already give each other. Made structured, repeatable, and available when you need it most.

Bootstrapped

Zero funding.
Zero pressure to fake it.

Yukara has raised no venture capital. There's no board to impress, no growth multiple to chase, no investor narrative that quietly rewrites the product. The whole project is funded by its builder — which means every feature is shipped because it makes Yukara better, not because it makes the next round easier.

How we build

A short list of non-negotiables.

  • Bootstrapped, on purpose

Zero venture funding raised. No board, no runway clock, no pressure to optimize for a fundraise instead of the product. The roadmap is set by what users need, not by what the next deck has to say.

  • Built in the open

Apache-2.0 from day one. Every reasoning trace, agent prompt, and orchestration decision is inspectable. If you don't trust the box, open it.

  • Calibrated, not confident

Most AI tools sound certain regardless of evidence. Yukara surfaces disagreement, confidence scores, and the strongest counter-argument upfront. The goal isn't to impress — it's to be defensible.
